Virgil W. Vinson, age 89 of Whitesburg, GA died Thursday, June 21, 2012. He is survived by his two sons, Wayne Vinson and Jeff Vinson.
In addition to his service in the United States Navy, Mr. Vinson was also an insurance executive with the Maryland Casualty Insurance Company.
A memorial service is planned for a later date.
