Royce Wayne Gilmer, age 78 of Smyrna died Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Vitas Care Hospice in Austell. He is survived by his son, Rusty Gilmer of Suwanee; daughter, Suzanne Willis of Austell; sister, Kathy Bradley of Summerville; 4 grandsons.
Born in Summerville, GA, he is the son of the late Yancy and Georgia Gilmer. He was an army veteran, warehouse supervisor, husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Sparks Gilmer.
According to his wishes, there will be no service.
