Robert "Bob" Cecil Griffin Jr., age 66 of Hampton, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Southern Regional Medical Center.

He was born to the late Robert Cecil and Vera Margaret Wiggonton Griffin on October 24, 1947, in Atlanta, Georgia. Bob graduated from Georgia Military Academy and received a BA in Business from Georgia State University.

Bob worked in the tire business for 42 years before his retirement.

Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years, Suzi and four children: Andrew and Gina Griffin; Jenni and Donnie Brady; Doug and Chere Griffin; Matt and Paige Griffin and ten grandchildren: Jennifer, Jake, Tyler, Evan, Kendall, Maddy, Taylor, Sammie, Jesse and John David. He also is survived by brother: Don and Judy Griffin; Mother-in-law: Mary Steerman and many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Bob will be missed by all. A private service will be held at a later date.
