Judith "Judy" Rasner Glass

Judith “Judy” Rasner Glass, beloved mother, Mamor, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 84 years old.

Born on Wednesday, August 28, 1940, in Louisville, Kentucky, Judy lived a life marked by compassion, strength, and dedication—both to her family and to the many patients she cared for during her long and distinguished career as a Critical Care Registered Nurse.

Known for her sharp mind, quick wit, and unwavering devotion to her family and the Lord, Judy was a force of nature – spirited and strong-willed. She had a gift for filling a room with energy and laughter, and her legacy of love and care will continue to inspire all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Basil Depp Rasner and Elizabeth Burke Hill Rasner, as well as her siblings, Carolyn Rasner Freeman (Sonny Freeman), Richard Rasner, Bonnie Rasner Burden, and John Rasner.

She is survived by her children; Carolyn, Eric (Vivian), and Aaron (Suzanne); her grandchildren, Jessica, Paul (Jasmine), Isaac (Kara), Jonah (Michelle), Maggie (Andrew), and Aj; her many great-grandchildren; her siblings Depp “Spike” Rasner and Jackie Rasner Higdon; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Judy’s memory and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
