Jamil Ali

Jamil Ali 61, formerly Samuel Clarke of Richmond, VA died June 19 at his residence surrounded by his loving daughter and friend.

He is survived by his daughter Joyce Clark Golay, son Andre Plummer, mother Cornelia Miller, brothers William F. Clarke, Jr and Eugene Clark, granddaughter Nakia Clarke, grandsons Daquan Clarke, Rake' Jones, Andre Plummer, Jr., and Marcus Plummer, devoted friend Carolyn C. Turner, sister-in-law Cheryl Clarke, Son-in-law Steven Golay and a host of relatives and friends. Mr. Ali was preceded in death by his father William Clarke.

A private memorial service is scheduled for a later date.
