James Hamilton Reasor, affectionately known as “Jim,” passed away on April 6, 2026, at the age of 71. He was born on October 1, 1954, and lived a life marked by love for his family, steady strength, and a legacy that will not be forgotten.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Reasor, and his mother, Ruth Burns. Though he has gone on, the impact of his life continues through those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Pamela Reasor, who stood faithfully by his side through life’s journey. He also leaves behind his brother, Bill Reasor (Cindy), and his beloved children: Gregory Reasor (Gina Caldwell), Charity Gasaway (Scott), and James Wolfson (Celione).Jim was a proud grandfather to Nick and Nate Reasor, Abby Hamilton, MacKenzie Gasaway, Jennifer (last name), and Eva Reasor.
His grandchildren were a great joy in his life, and he treasured the time spent with each of them.Jim enjoyed the outdoors and found peace in hunting, hiking, traveling, and camping. He was an avid reader, always seeking knowledge and reflection. More than anything, Jim enjoyed serving the Lord and living out his faith in his daily life. He also had a special place in his heart for his beloved fur babies—Bella, Maverick, Gunner, and Kimber—who brought him comfort and companionship.Jim dedicated 28 years of faithful service to PolyChem/Greenbridge, where his strong work ethic and dependability were evident to all who knew him. Jim was known as a very kind, patient, and loving man.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:30pm on Friday, April 10, 2026 at Revolution Church, 2332 Commerce Place, McDonough, Georgia 30253. Flowers for this service may be sent directly to the church no earlier than 3pm the day of the service.
He had a gentle spirit and a warm sense of humor, always ready to joke around and bring a smile to those around him. Jim will be remembered for his love for family, his steady presence, his faith, and the many memories he created with those closest to him.
