James Anthony "Jimmy" Dervan Sr., age 69 of Powder Springs, died March 18, 2011 at the Atlanta Veteran Hospital. He was an Army veteran, serving his country proudly. He is survived by his son, Jim Dervan Jr. of Roswell; step-son, Al Brown of Acworth; brothers, Phillip Dervan of Powder Springs, Bill Dervan of Albany; sisters, Margaret Knight of Albany, Pat Bush of Marietta, 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration service is planned for a later date.
