Gideon Mizell Jr., age 57 of Marietta, formerly of Charleston, S.C., died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in Atlanta. A native of Charleston, he was born on January 13, 1956 to the late Gideon Mizell Sr. and Faye Irene Broome Mizell . He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Savannah and Brent Barton of Hawaii; Marilyn Mizell, mother of Savannah Mizell Barton; sisters, Linda and husband Johnny McAllister of Marietta, GA, Barbra Butler of Marion, N.C.
He was a graduate of Hanahan High School, the College of Charleston and received a Library Science Master
