Nita Collier, age 75 of Hiram, formerly of Fort Valley, died Monday, August 11, 2014. Born on March 16, 1939; she is the daughter of the late Howard and Lorraine Simmons. She worked as a loan company manager with Southern Finance and was a home maker.
She is survived by two daughters, Maria Dean of Hiram and Monica Barker of Fort Valley; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 16th, at 1:00 pm and a memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm at Evangelistic House of Prayer, 40 Huckleberry Lane, Fort Valley, GA 31030.
