Donald Gene Wilson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Gene Wilson, a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend. Donald was born on Wednesday, December 10th, 1958, in Guin, Alabama, and peacefully departed this life on Sunday, September 14th, 2025, at the age of 66, in Carrollton, Georgia.

Residing in Bremen, Georgia, Donald was a dedicated and skilled homebuilder whose craftsmanship and attention to detail left a lasting impression on the many homes he helped construct throughout his career. His work not only built houses but also created homes filled with warmth and love for countless families. His interests included riding and working with tractors, studying the Bible, gardening, spending time with family, collecting antiques, and many other things.

Donald was preceded in death by his loving parents, Bert Allen Wilson and Ruthie Emerson Wilson, his sister Judy Barnes, and his niece, Traude Ray and wife Beverly Wilson. He carried their values of hard work, integrity, and kindness throughout his life and passed these cherished principles onto his loved ones.

He is survived by his brother John Wilson and his sister-in-law Jana Wilson, the Wilson nieces and nephews, niece Monique Solorzano, his daughters Christy Harrison, and Stephanie Youngman, his grandchildren LaShea Sellers , Kassie Youngman, Alyssa Youngman, and Brooks Harrison. Though his presence will be sorely missed, Donald leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who follow in his footsteps.
