David Shane Brown

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Shane Brown, a beloved husband, skilled craftsman, and cherished friend. Shane passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the age of 48. He was the son of Harry Brown (Pops) and the late Judith Net Morris Brown.

Shane was born on Thursday, June 9, 1977, and from a young age, he exhibited a natural talent for working with his hands. This passion led him to a fulfilling career as a carpenter with McDowell, LLC, where he was known for his dedication, precision, and artistry. His work not only built structures but also created lasting memories for countless families and businesses in the community. He and Rebecca enjoyed fishing together – just for the simple joy of catching and releasing.

Shane is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Brown, who resides in Carrollton, GA. Their marriage was a testament to love and partnership, and together they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and mutual support. He is also survived by father, Harry Brown; a son, Devin Brown; sisters, Tammy Caldwell, Frances Brown and Kimberly Brown; as well as two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 1:30PM Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 1293 Sand Hill Shady Grove Rd, Carrollton, GA 30116 officiated by Senior Pastor Gene Fields of One Church, Buchanan. The family will receive friends at 1:00pm prior to the service.

David Shane Brown will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
