It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cody Michael Smith, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left this world on Friday, January 23rd, 2026, at the age of 27. Cody was born on Friday, September 4th, 1998, in Pasadena, California.

Cody was a vibrant soul whose warmth and kindness touched everyone he met. He had a passion for life that was evident in his love for adventure, his dedication to his family and friends, and his unwavering optimism. Cody's laughter was infectious, and his generous spirit was a gift to all who knew him.

He was deeply cherished by his family, especially by his mother Jenn, and his absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, only honored.

This loss also speaks to the importance of mental health and community care. Grief does not move in a straight line, and pain is often carried quietly. No parent, no family, should have to hold this weight alone.
