Carol Elaine Petty, age 57 of Austell died Monday, August 11, 2014 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. She is survived by her sons, Jason Gilliland of Austell, Jeremy Gilliland of Cartersville; daughter, Julie G. Hernandez of Austell; sisters, pam, Allison, Cindy and Amy; mother, Bertha Vaughn of Lithia Springs; 2 grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for 6:00 pm, Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church, Austell with Rev. Chris Humphries officiating. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother.
