Carl Allen Gravley

Carl Allen Gravley, age 54 of Acworth, died Saturday, February 19, 2011 after a short illness at Kennestone Wellstar Hospital in Marietta. He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Joy Gravley; sons, Jason Allen Gravley of North Carolina, John Robert Gravley of Acworth, Carl Jarrett Gravley of Canton, Joshua Thomas Gravley of Dallas; daughter, Joni Gravely Baxter of Dallas; mother, Vera Lou Gravley of Acworth; brothers, Doyle Gravley of Pinelog, Clinton Gravley of Canton; sisters, Charlotte Johnston of Smyrna, Gwen Brookshire of Acworth and Cindy Chastain of Cartersville; 5 grandchildren, Caleb Gravley, Jackson Gravley, Zakk Gravley, McKenna Gravley, and Haley Baxter; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Thomas Gravley; sister, Gloria Gail Gravley and brother, Glen Gravley.

Mr. Gravley worked for R&R Plumbing and was a heavy equipment operator. A celebration of his life will be held at 4 pm Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Without Walls International of Cartersville; 214 Nelson Street, Cartersville, GA 30120. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 with the service starting at 4.
