Marshall Phillip Everette

Marshall Phillip Everette, Sr. 76, of Douglasville died Sunday, January 15th at Wellstar Community Hospice. He was born the fifth of six children to William and Annie Mae Everette in Rocky Mount, N.C. Marshall is survived by his wife of five years, Sarah; Children Marshall P. Everette, Jr. and wife Cheryl, Michael D. Everette and wife Dianne, Scott A. Everette and wife Katrina; Step-children Kim Hall, Rebekah Hannah and Lonnie Clayton; Sisters Joyce Reynolds, Peggy Smith and husband Frank, Myra Scatolini and Jean Godwin Ray; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Marshall will be remembered as a man that enjoyed spending time on the water in his boat as well as skydiving. He also had a “green thumb” and enjoyed planting tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and flowers.

A memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, January 22 at Wellstar Community Hospice.
