My prayers are with you and your family at this time. After being your moms neighbor for over 11yrs, I was scared to leave her knowing that this could happen. I will miss are long talks and sitting by the fire pits in the winter time. We have alot of good memeories not to mention, I always gave her my carnation milk that she loved to drink with coffee or if she needed to use it for something else. She was a sweet women. We would always say, Mrs. Edie you are a cool old lady who will live a long time. She would laugh and say, I dont know about living a long time but, maybe I am cool. We would all laugh. She will be missed and was always loved by me and my son. She made sure that she gave him the bible before we moved and he reads it all the time. Blake and her had alot of long talks together since I was raising him as a single mother. My heart is broken from knowing that she is gone now. We are always here for you and your brother if you need anything. We love you guys. Julie Bland

My prayers go out to Jack and Beth in the loss of thier sweet mother. Edie was such a special and dear friend to me for many, many years at HP. She and I sat next to one another for several years in the &qoutesRed Brick&qoutes building on Windy Hill Road. I have so many fond memories of the laughter and fun she and I would have as we &qoutesworked&qoutes. She will be missed by so many of us from Hewlett Packard and will always remain in my heart as a special friend. She is at rest in GOD&singleqoutess hands……and is at peace. We will see her again.

You were such an amazing lady. I always enjoyed your company and our long talks. Your support and guidance when I left your son and your forgiveness for doing so. Your reassurance that I was doing the right thing. You were a woman of great strength and courage. I always thought you looked like Jacqueline Kennedy from the pictures I saw of you younger days. You were certainly a lady and a lady always knows when it’s time to leave. I will love you forever Mom. Say hi to Alec for me.
    Sincerely,
    Anna
