Carl Chipps age 79, of Dallas passed away July 27. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Chipps; daughters, Pamela (Eric) Mehr and Kimberly (Tom) Kyte; grandchildren, Zachary and Heather and great granddaughter Alexis. He was preceded in death by his son, Carl Chipps, Jr.
Mr. Chipps served in the Army from 1957 to 1960 and worked several jobs before owning his own locksmith company, Abel Safe and Lock. He had a twin engine pilot license and enjoyed flying his wife in his plane to Ocean City, Maryland to watch Noreasters. He loved to spend time at home with his family and being a member of Mount Nebo United Mewthodist Church.
